I’m not sure if anyone even reads this anymore, but we need to collect a bunch of process screenshots for the document.

Can everyone please send some pictures that show what you’ve been working on (a screenshot of a building in maya, or whatever) to Becky? And just mention who worked on it and what part of the project it is.

Green Screen Update (long)

Hay guys, we the EAV team meet this morning and got giggle into a greenscreen studio…wall and floor. Take a look at what we did, we will be posting the playblast later this week. We used Damo’s HD DV camera which uses a new codec which final cut machine can edit. We will keep you posted with the progress

hope it helps, just my take on the buildings image having just a play on colours and slightly sharpening everything up. nothing major but i think it feels a little more alive. Leila

Website Fix—Chris

Hey everyone. It’s been a while since anyone posted on the blog, let alone the web team—so I thought I’d try and resurrect it a bit. After last week’s confusion over the direction the web project was going, we went away and planned out a new approach.

We met today to execute a plan I’d come up with to try and achieve two key objectives:

  1. Resemble much closer the mockup we presented to Carley, even though the brief has changed dramatically.
  2. Change the site from being a “pretty artwork” to a “fun, sales driven platform”.

I feel like we finished on a good note today when we presented the new idea to Dave, and we all decided to lock in the new approach for development and animation over the next two weeks. I’ve polished the design a bit this evening and tried to tie it in closer with the invites and the imagery I’m seeing from you EAV guys, even though you’re in early stages. Hopefully this hits the nail on the head (feedback is extremely encouraged here everyone):

Music (Long)

hay guys, i looked into the production music from ExtremeMusic.com.au for our intro title. The EAV team was looking into finding something with a big of bass that would shake the floors as the intro starts, so that’s what i tried looking into. I found sum pretty good minimual house traxs with sum decent bass, check them out below…i will also have these ready for thursday/friday so we can all have a listen in class!
